Meet the Pastors
Pastor Victoria and I have a sincere desire to see people grow in their relationship with God. Our lives have been impacted tremendously by men and women of God who have imparted to us. We have that same desire to impart what has been imparted. The Bible teaches us the importance of having a pastor. Jeremiah 23:3-4 teaches that when we have a pastor who feeds us the word of God, the following will happen:
We will be fruitful.
We will increase.
We will fear no more.
We will not be dismayed.
We will have no lack.

Areas of Ministry
Women of Truth
Each quarter, the women of True Word Christian Center come together for a special time of fellowship. This includes a time of teaching from Pastor Victoria on certain topics that address women.
Mighty Men Anointed
Each quarter, the men of True Word Christian Center come together to have a fellowship around the word of God with Pastor Alvin. This is an opportunity for men to open up and ask questions concerning topics that specifically impact men.
Children's Ministry
Every Sunday, children ages 2-10 years meet. Here at True Word Christian Center, we believe in teaching our children early. The children have special lessons designed specifically to minister to them on their level of understanding.
Outreach Ministry
We feel that our local community is just as much a mission field as any country overseas. So each quarter, our outreach team schedules different events for the church to volunteer in our community.
Ministry of Helps
Helps ministry is listed in 1 Corinthians 12:27-28 as a legitimate ministry. The ministry of helps is the backbone of the local church. The church cannot function efficiently without people who lend their gifts to advance God's vision.
What We Believe
As a church, we often get questions on what we believe. Please find below the core fundamental principles of God’s word upon which TWCC is built.
Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired word of God, an infallible guide for life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12)
The Godhead
God is one, manifested in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Mark 12:29, Isaiah 43:10-11, Matthew 28:19)
Man, His Fall and Redemption
Man is made in the image of God. Through Adam’s fall, sin came into the world. Jesus came to redeem man. (Genesis 1:26-31 & 3:17, Romans 5:12-21)
Water Baptism
Baptism in water is by immersion and is for believers only. (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4)
Baptism in the Holy Ghost
It is a gift from God promised to all who believe and is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:2-4, 19:6,10:44-46)
Sanctification
It is a definite, yet progressive, work of grace. (Hebrews 12:14, 1 Peter 1:15-16, 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24, Philippians 1:6)
Divine Healing
It is provided through the atonement of Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, Mark 16:17-20)
Return of Christ
Jesus will return to the earth, the dead in Christ will rise first, and the great tribulation will occur prior to his reign on earth. (1 Corinthians 15:51-53, 1 Thessalonians 4:16, Revelations 19:11-16)
Hell - Eternal Separation
One who dies in his sin without accepting Jesus Christ is eternally lost. (Revelation 19:20, 20:10-15)
